What Is CFW?
Creative Force Wrestling is an eFed — a written wrestling universe where matches, stories, and characters all play out like a TV show.
CFW started as a solo passion project, built from a love of booking wrestling cards and telling long-term stories. Because it began as a one-person wrestling booking game, it can still run solo — but it’s designed to be very adaptable as more people join in.
The world is open-ended. You can simply submit a wrestler and watch what happens, or you can become more hands-on and help shape what happens next.
Ways to Play
Create a Wrestler
Build a character, send them into the world, and see what unfolds. Your wrestler can appear on shows, rack up wins and losses, and become part of ongoing rivalries and stories.
Roleplay & React
Take a more active role by writing promos, reacting to match results, and leaning into who your character is — their attitude, voice, and choices in this universe.
Help Book the World
If you love the “backstage” side, you can help pitch or shape matches, feuds, and storylines. CFW is flexible enough to support collaborative booking while keeping dice at the center.
Shows & Structure
Black Light
The flagship show. Black Light focuses on storytelling, angles, and big matches. Episodes are written as PDFs that read like a gritty TV broadcast from an underground indie promotion.
SpeedRun
A more match-focused show that highlights upcoming prospects and newer talent. SpeedRun is where wrestlers earn their way into the spotlight and build early momentum.
PPVs
Special events where major feuds pay off and titles are on the line. PPVs are the big emotional peaks of CFW — the fallout from Black Light and SpeedRun all converging in one night.
You can read past events any time in the Show Archive.
Dice System – How Matches Are Decided
CFW is open to a lot of different roleplay styles, but one thing never changes: at the heart of the game is a dice system. Every match result is determined by dice.
- Matches use a simple best-of-five roll system.
- Each side rolls; the higher roll wins the round. First to 3 round wins takes the match.
- Some matches may include small dice advantages tied to division rules or story stakes. These are always applied fairly, and full dice transparency is available upon request.
- The dice decide who wins and loses — the story is written around whatever happens.
If you want to experiment with the system yourself, you can use the Match Randomizer on the Roster page.
Create a Wrestler
You don’t need a huge bio or a novel to get started. A clear idea and a few key details are enough. Think about:
- Name & Alignment – who they are, and whether they’re a face, heel, or tweener.
- Look & Style – gear, vibe, body type, and wrestling style (brawler, high-flyer, technical, etc.).
- Personality & Motivation – what they want in CFW and how they carry themselves.
- Moves – at least one finisher and a couple of signature moves.
Submitting a character puts them right into the CFW universe — ready for shows, surprises, and long-term storytelling. Anyone can break out, and anything can happen.
